A fast-growing, incredibly tough shrub that thrives in Prairie conditions. Common Caragana produces cheerful, pea-shaped yellow flowers in late spring, followed by dark green, lobed foliage that stays attractive through summer. In fall, the leaves turn a bright yellow, adding a splash of seasonal colour.
Highly heat and drought tolerant, this durable shrub is ideal for hedges, screens, and windbreaks, especially in areas where resilience is a must.
Mature Height: ~18ft.
Spacing: Plant 6ft. apart
A hardy, low-maintenance choice for creating long-lasting structure and protection on acreages, farms, and large landscapes.
