We’re sorry to hear that your Tartarian Maple Tree did not break dormancy. Young bare-root trees can sometimes take longer than expected to wake up in spring as they focus on developing their root system, and some may be slower to show signs of growth after transplanting.
We understand how disappointing it is to see no new growth after planting, especially after providing care and following the recommended steps. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we appreciate the opportunity to continue monitoring feedback on this variety.
Only 4 of 5 leafed out. The one that hasn't leafed out looked dead on arrival, but I did my best by it. I think they were too long in transit.
