Juliet Cherry
A standout introduction from the University of Saskatchewan, Juliet Cherry produces beautiful dark red fruit, about 5g each, with a rich flavour ideal for fresh eating, baking, cooking, and making jams and jellies. In mid-spring, the branches are covered in clusters of fragrant white blossoms, adding ornamental value before the heavy summer harvest.
Juliet grows into a compact, easy-to-manage shrub, reaching about 8ft. at maturity. While self-pollinating, yields are even higher when two cherry varieties are planted together.
Mature Height: ~8ft.
Flowering: Mid-spring white blossoms
Pollination: Self-pollinating (better results with two varieties)
Cherries are naturally rich in antioxidants, adding nutritional value to their already impressive flavour and versatility.
A hardy, productive, and beautifully ornamental cherry perfect for Prairie gardens and home orchards.
