This exceptionally hardy cherry has been thoroughly tested through Prairie winters and continues to impress with its reliability and heavy production. Lutowka produces large, dark, flavour-packed cherries (5-7g each) with small stones and a rich sweet-tart taste—perfect for pies, wines, juices, jams, and jellies.
This vigorous bush grows 6-9ft. tall and is covered in beautiful blossoms in late May. The fruit ripens in August and the yields are outstanding. While self-pollinating, you'll get even better production when planting two cherry varieties together.
