The whole bag only had 5 potatoes in it, we landed up cooking with the potatoes...

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your order. Our seed potatoes are sold by weight (kilogram) rather than by the number of potatoes in the bag. Because potato tubers naturally vary in size, some bags may contain fewer, larger potatoes, while others may contain more, smaller ones. Regardless of the number of potatoes, each bag is packed to meet the advertised weight.

Larger seed potatoes can also be cut into multiple seed pieces before planting. As long as each piece has at least one or two healthy 'eyes,' it can be planted to produce a new potato plant. We recommend allowing the cut surfaces to dry and callus over for a day or two before planting to help reduce the risk of rot.
