Description
The American plum is used for both ornamental and culinary purposes.
Ideal for jams and jellies. The long wand-like branches form a wide,
graceful head which is handsome in winter and in spring is covered with
masses of pure white fragrant flowers followed by ample bright foliage
and abundant showy globular fruits are about 2.5 cm (1 in) in diameter.
Mature height is 4.5 metres (15 ft) Excellent pollinator for all plums!
