Celosia Dracula

First-of-its-kind novelty celosia shows one big flower atop the plant. Unusual shape and eye-catching color add drama to landscapes, gardens and containers. Good mid-height border plant. Note: will be shorter in high light areas. Ht 6-10 in. spreads 8-12 in.

Planting Instructions
Sow seed as soon as soil can be worked. Cover seed very lightly and keep the soil moist until all seedlings appear. For earlier flowers start seed indoors 6 weeks before date of transplanting out in the garden. Soil temperature should be 21°C. Seed should germinate in 7 to 10 days. Reduce temperature to near 12°C after they sprout for best results. These plants prefer full sun and somewhat alkaline soil. Wet soggy locations should be avoided. Fertilize every 2 weeks with 10-52-17 and liquid seaweed for strong healthy plants. Garden spacing 24 in. apart.
