Description

Unusual round silvery leaves are pierced through the center by the stems. Tolerant of neglect like the cactus, but much faster growth. Excellent as a pot plant and for dry-flower arrangements. Origin: Australia. Repels rabbits.

Planting Instructions

Start seed 8 to 10 weeks prior to intended date of transplanting outside. Start seed in jiffy pots or trays, as they do not transplant well. Press seed into soil as light will aid germination. Germinates best at 22 C (70 F) in 14-21 days. Grow plants on at 16 C (61 F). Fertilize every 2 weeks with 10-52-17 and liquid seaweed for strong healthy plants. Garden spacing 30 cm (12 in) apart.
