A hardy and beautiful outdoor fern. Ideal for shady spots where nothing else will grow. Ht 90 cm (3 ft).
Plant crowns in shady spots that are protected from strong wind.
Incorporate organic matter into the soil, leaf mold or compost are
suitable. Cover the crown with 2 cm (1 in) soil and deeply water the
planting area. Ferns thrive in constantly moist soil. Snow coverage is
usually enough winter protection.
