Planting Instructions

Seed as early as possible in spring. Plant seed 1 cm (1/2 in) deep, 1 or 2 seeds per 2 cm (1 in) of row. Space rows 40 cm (16 in) apart. When 8 cm (3 in) tall, thin to 15 cm (6 in) apart. Cultivate shallowly to avoid injury to roots. Parsley can be cut at will all summer, and will continue to put out new leaves. Pot up several plants for winter use. Dig up as much soil with the roots as you can at the end of the summer and place in a flower pot. Cut off all leaves to give roots a chance to become established. Move inside and enjoy all winter.
