Description

This greenhouse Cucumber will set high numbers of long, straight hot-house type fruit without the aid of cross-pollination. Fruit is 37 cm (15 in) long and very sweet.

Planting Instructions

These Cucumbers should not be grown outdoors as pollination from bees or other insects will cause full seed pods and bitterness. Start seed in jiffy-strips and keep soil temperature at 20 C (70 F). When plants are 4 to 6 leaf stage transplant into larger pots or growing beds. They require a trellis to grow up on. Germinates best at 22 C (72 F) in 7 to 10 days. A regular feeding of 10-52-17 fertilizer will aid in growth and production.
